It's time to start preparing for the Structured Cases. You don't know what those cases will entail, so be ready for anything that falls into these 4 main areas:

Step 2: Curate Your Case List
November & December

After a year of collecting cases, it’s time to choose the 90 that will best prove your expertise and show you practice the full spectrum of MFM. Before submitting your list for approval, confirm every choice, decide what to include and what to cut, and make sure each case is presented in a clear and concise fashion. Remember, lists are due early February.

Step 3: Prepare for the Expected
February & March

Your Case Lists have been approved, and now it’s up to you to know each case inside and out. You can’t predict every question your examiner will ask, but you can make sure you’re up-to-date on the topics each case is most likely to inspire.

Step 4: Practice, Practice, Practice
February through April

You've studied up and you're feeling ready to go. But there's a big difference between knowing an answer and knowing how to say it when you're sitting across from a Board Examiner. Practice answering questions about your Case List with three 40 minute Practice Sessions (think of this as a mock on steroids)! And how better to practice for the day of than to do a full "Dress Rehearsal" including 15 structured cases and questions directly guided by your three case lists in a format just like the day of the exam...yeah, it's legit! Trust me, it allows you to work out any kinks and walk into exam day confident.
